Inktober Day 27 – Thunder

While I was in Utah in the summer of 2018, I witnessed a massive summer thunderstorm in the city of Moab and Arches National Park. Huge lightning and loud thunder – it was impressive. As the storm died down, we went for a drive through Arches just to see what the park looked like in the rain. It was really interesting to see how different that desert landscape looked during a sudden downpour, to see the impromptu creeks that sprung up and to see how the water moved throughout the sandstone structures.
