This illustration is inspired by Arches National Park. While I was there, I saw a presentation about how the park you see today will never really be seen exactly like that again. The park is constantly changing due to weather and erosion, with new sandstone formations being revealed as others are worn away. The clock never stops, it always keeps moving forward.
